Concerned for the well being of Catholics and Christians of today, who are in dire need for knowledge to deepen their faith, my friends and I decided to set up SCRIPTORIUM BOOKS and this website : christianbooksmalaysia.com , in the hope to reach as many of them as possible. How can we love and serve God if we do not know Him well. It's an apostolate to restore all things in Christ and His Kingdom.
The aim is to make known and to make more affordable, especially to Catholics in Malaysia and the neighbouring countries, hard to find Catholic books (possibly rare), and other related products like greeting cards , prayer cards, medals and such.
Although these products may be meant for Christians, many of the books are applicable and appealing to ardent readers who are looking for books that are different and can help to inspire change in their lives. There are books for newly weds, for married life, for parents, for raising children, for young readers (adventure stories), and those which help in coping with life’s difficulties. There are books like the classic: MY CATHOLIC FAITH, which is a very informative and is a good reference book for Christians; about the Mass, inspiring books about the lives of Saints , the Duoay-Rheims Bible (the one that all Christians ought to use), Sunday Missals, Christian Doctrines, History, and so on.
